I am a People Consultant & Leadership Coach with over 30 years experience. I am a strong advocate of behavioral safety and have developed many training programs and supported businesses to implement safe practices.

My Health and Safety management experience within Health, Manufacturing and large Corporates has given me insight into the importance of safety leadership.
During my 30 years, I have gained significant experience within the FMCG sector, Service Industry, Healthcare Industry, Not For Profit and Law and Consultancy. There is nothing I have not seen before!
I am well placed to assist with all your people issues no matter how big or small. I have a special interest and experience in positive workplace culture development, review and implementation.
I am a confident facilitator and coach who uses my cheerful personality and personal experiences to provide a fun learning environment whilst achieving excellent outcomes.

Recruitment
Hiring a new person is full of risk. I will support you to attract the best candidates and carry out a recruitment process that will assist with your selection process. You are in control at all times and I use a “stage-gate” approach to consider all candidates in a fair manner. This can involve designing job descriptions and advertisements, receiving and reviewing cvs, screening interviews, reports, short listing candidates, face-to-face interviews, referee checks and offer presentations.
Strategic HR
Values, Culture and Strategy review – According to Peter Drucker “Culture eats strategy for breakfast” and any strategy needs to be aligned with a companies purpose, goals and values. I can support and facilitate this culture and value development or review. If further work is needed to design the optimum workforce and structure I can facilitate this. If needed I am experienced at developing and implementing organisational and cultural change including proposals for change.
Operational HR
General HR support and advice – Covers all areas of advice, including payroll advice, parental leave, flexibility at work, legal benefits and obligations and all of those little questions that employees ask.
Performance incentives and rewards – Incentivising performance is a difficult area. If done right the system will encourage improved productivity and engagement. If done wrong productivity and engagement will be damaged. Getting this right takes careful thought and advice.
Performance reviews – Developing and implementing employee/manager feedback is an important mechanism for engagement. I am experienced at designing and implementing a system that works for your business to gain the best outcomes for all.
Conflict Resolution & Employment Relations Advice– I am not an Employment Lawyer, however I have over 30 years’ experience assisting organisations to navigate people matters. I have experience with formal and informal conflict resolution processes to ensure everyone acts in “good faith”. This includes support at meetings, mediation and documentation throughout the process. I am also experienced at negotiating exits with a compassionate and “win-win” approach. This includes developing Records of Settlement to document any agreement.
Leadership
Capability – Career pathways, agreed competencies and clear guidelines are important to drive succession planning and motivation for your teams. Specific programmes can be designed to support individual businesses to bring out the best in their people.
Leadership Development coaching – As I am an experienced Coach I am able to assist leaders to consider themselves, their personal characteristics and support them to develop and enhance their leadership.
Career Coaching – There may be times where a person needs an independent coach to assist in considering their current and future career, within and outside an organisation. Using assessments and coaching I am able to work with a person to understand their key drivers and consider and prepare them for future opportunities.
Training Facilitation – As a skilled Facilitator I can design “bespoke” programmes to suit your organisation and teams. Whether your team is small or large I provide a fun interactive learning environment and experience which meets learner’s needs. Examples of recent learning experiences include: team building activities, communication styles, stress management, communication, leadership skills, coaching and mentoring etc.
